COMPLETED

I woke up at 2am and I was so excited about finishing the trail today that could not go back to sleep. I’m going to miss being in nature 24/7 and the simplicity of life out here, but I miss Grant, sleeping in a bed and being clean ?

The moon was so bright I could see everything clearly in my tent, so I decided to start hiking at 5:30am to enjoy the moon and the stars one more time in these beautiful mountains.

Normally I would be able to hike 8.7 miles downhill in about 2.5 his, but today I took my time. I breathed in the fresh air. I focused on the different sounds and smells. I watched the sunrise over the far mountain range as fresh colors danced across the sky.

This trail is magical. It builds you up and breaks you down, showing you that you can endure way more than you thought you could. It reminds you how small you are on the planet, while proving how powerful you can be.

If you are constantly stressed, feeling like you’re in a rut, or just need a new challenge in life…

Climb a mountain.

Remember that you are more powerful than you could possibly imagine ❤️
