So many beautiful views today!
The morning started cold with spurts of hail. I think the recent rain has made it colder in general, and it’s making it harder and harder to get out of my sleeping bag each morning ?
The second half of my day was spent on an epic ridgeline where I could see mountains beyond mountains too my left and a comfortable treeline to my right (it’s usually a bit safer on a ridge if there are trees there too). So I was loving it! That is until the last 3 miles of my 23 mile day, where I was just completely exhausted and ready to be done!
My campsite is pretty cool tonight. I’m close to an overlook so I have incredible mountain views ? The only catch is the wind is crazy up here! Let’s hope I don’t freeze tonight ?
